Production management
Run a project from creation to settlement – team, events, budget, documents, contacts
You are responsible for a production or a series. Your home is the project: it bundles everything that belongs to it, and you decide who in the team may see and change what.

The first tasks
Create the project – as a single project or in a project group (festival, series). Creating a project
Put the team together and set permissions per person: write permission, budget access, project management, project roles. Project team
Create events – individually in the calendar or many at once in the schedule; the project period is calculated from them. Creating several events together
Build the budget, ideally from a template, and have items verified. Table structure
File documents and contracts, and request missing paperwork as a document request. Documents, contracts & further project data
Create checklists from a template (premiere, get-out) and assign tasks. Checklists & tasks
Share it outside: print layout as PDF for guests, external access for companies that fill in their data themselves. External access
Settings that help you
- Pin the running productions and use the filter only projects where you are a team member in the project list.
- Project search in the calendar and the duty roster to see only your production in its period.
- In the calendar, Project status and Project managers on the tiles, so that queries end up with you.
- Copy link in the project header to send colleagues straight to the right tab.
- History in the project header when you want to know who changed what.
Permissions you need
Role preset Production management: Create own projects, Can be project manager, read or write permissions for other projects depending on your organisation's rules, contract permissions as needed, and budget access in the project team for budgets. Details under Projects and How project permissions work together.
Typical pitfalls
- A team member cannot see a tab: check the tab or component visibility in the tab settings.
- The budget is missing: budget access in the team is a separate checkbox.
- The project period is wrong: it follows the events with a period-relevant event type – Event types.
